Situated in the historic quarter or old town of Stirling, the Youth Hostel is adjacent to the Victorian Old Town Jail and provides a great base to explore the city. You will be staying in a historic part of Stirling, the hostel is a short distance down the hill from Stirling Castle and the surviving facade of the old Erskine Marykirk has been incorporated into this modern youth hostel. The Wallace monument and Bannockburn heritage centre are only a few miles away.
This is a convenient location for groups and families who are touring around Scotland or are visiting stirling for a day or two. Many local attractions are easily accessible by car and there are wonderful places to visit nearby. A short walk downhill from the youth hostel will take you into Stirling city centre where you can find excellent shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars. The Stirling Arcade and Thistles Centre are only a few minutes walk away.
Stirling Youth Hostel has limited car parking spaces but is only a 10 minute walk from Stirling Railway Station and bus station.
