Where is Stirling in Scotland? If you are coming from Edinburgh, you can get to Stirling in about 1 hour on the M9. The journey from Glasgow should take around 40 minutes on the M80. Both motorways converge at Bannockburn Junction 9 where you can turn right onto the A91 for about 3 miles and then left onto the A905 which will take you into town at the roundabout on Burghmuir Road.
Alternatively, you can carry on down the M9 to Junction 10 at Craigforth and turn right onto the A84. Travel along the Drip Road and enter the town via the roundabout by the River Forth at the other end of Burghmuir Road.

There are two park and ride sites in Stirling, both on the outskirts of the City, allowing you to continue with the rest of your journey on dedicated buses, saving the hassle of parking in the City.
Buses operate from the Springkerse and Castleview sites to the city centre every 12 minutes from 7.30 am until 6.30 pm Monday to Saturday, with extended services until 8.30 pm on Thursday evenings.

The Castleview site is located to the west of Stirling, just off junction 10 of the M9 Motorway. To find the site using an in car satellite navigation system, enter the postcode FK9 4TW as your destination point.
The Springkerse site is located to the east of Stirling, just off the A91 at Springkerse Retail park. To find the site using an in car satellite navigation system, enter the postcode FK7 7TL as your destination point.

Stirling Railway Station is right in the centre of town at the foot of Station Road on Goosecroft Road. There is a comfortable waiting area, left luggage lockers, newsagent, cafe / bar, ticket and enquiries office.
Regular daily services run from Stirling to Glasgow, Edinburgh and other major cities and towns. As you come out of the main entrance, the Bus Station is along on the left, under the covered walkway.

Stirling Bus Station is on Goosecroft Road and can be accessed from the Thistles Shopping Centre by going down the escalator at the rear entrance to Debenhams.
