The house is well suited for family holidays, groups of friends or business/training groups. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, cycling, wildlife and bird watching. The adjacent field could provide accommodation for horses by arrangement.
Absolutely Scotland run a variety of outdoor activities within a mile from the house and trout fishing is available, through the season, at North Third Trout Fishery, which is half a mile along the road.
There is a wide choice of pubs and restaurants in and around Stirling and many local attractions, including Blair Drummond Safari Park, The Falkirk Wheel, The National Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle, are within easy reach. The house is also well positioned as a base for touring Central Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
Shielbrae is about 3 miles from the village of Cambusbarron and is easily reached from the motorway network.
