In a glorious rural setting with spectacular long distance views to the Trossachs, this delightful converted steading enjoys a very convenient location, being within 45 minutes drive of Edinburgh, Perth, Stirling and Glasgow. The cottages are situated in a quiet setting on a private estate.
Forming two sides of an attractive courtyard, opposite the owner's home, there are 2 cottages:
Ochil Cottage - Sleeps 8
Blashie Cottage - Sleeps 6
Each cottage has a separate entrance and enjoys its own garden, with shared use of a games room. Stylish furnishings, bright interior design and generous use of space make these cottages relaxing and comfortable retreats after a day spent exploring the delightful surrounding area or participating in the wide range of outdoor activities.
Arndean cottages are surrounded by beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The Ochil Hills are to the North and the Central Belt to the South. Fishing, shooting, hillwalking, golf and tennis can all be undertaken on the Estate.
There are many local attractions with Stirling and its historic castle and monuments only 10 miles away. The town of Dollar with good shopping is 2 miles away and there are several restaurants within 5 miles.
The cottages are decorated and furbished to a similar high quality standard and both have gained a Scottish Tourist Board qualification. They both come fully equipped with all the necessary implements, appliances, linen and towels and utensils to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.
This old barn has been recently converted into a 2 storey cottage and refurbished to the highest standards. It has a large living room with open fire and a spacious modern fitted kitchen/dinning room with door to terrace and garden. There is a utility room and WC on the ground floor. On the first floor there are four bedrooms: two twin bedded rooms and two double (one of which can become a twin bedded room. Two bathrooms/WC, one with a bath/shower attachment and one with over-bath shower.
This single storey barn has also been recently converted and refurbished to similar high standards. The entrance hall leads into a Living Room with open fire. There is a fully fitted Kitchen/Dinning Room and Utility Room/Boot Room with door to the garden. There are three bedrooms: a double and two twins. One bathroom with bath and over shower and one shower room each with basins and WCs.
All week bookings are from Friday at 4 pm to the following Friday at 10 am.
A short break is up to 3 days from Fridays or 4 days from Mondays.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% secures a booking.
